Reviews and Ratings
We had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was lovely with beautiful views, and the historical charm of the building is captivating. Our room was clean, but there were some issues with noise from outside and some maintenance that needed attention. The dining experience was pleasant, though the breakfast situation could use improvement.
I had high hopes for this hotel given its iconic status and beautiful ocean views, but I was let down by the overall state of the room and the lack of cleanliness. The view from the balcony was stunning, which was a definite plus, but the room itself had worn furniture and seemed overdue for updates. For the price we paid, I expected much better quality and maintenance, which unfortunately didn't meet my expectations.
My experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. On one hand, the location is excellent, and the room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making the check-in process pleasant. However, the air conditioning was a bit unpredictable, which made it hard to sleep comfortably, and the room setup left a lot to be desired in terms of space for luggage. Overall, it feels like the hotel has potential, but improvements are definitely needed in room design and amenities.
The hotel has potential due to its historic charm and prime location, but it falls short in several areas. While the staff I encountered were helpful and friendly, the room I stayed in was disappointingly tiny and lacked a window, making it feel claustrophobic. The dining experience was mixed, with one meal being excellent while another was lackluster. It also needs a lot of maintenance to live up to its promise.
I had high hopes for this iconic hotel with its stunning views, but it was a letdown overall. While the balcony view was gorgeous and worth the extra money, the room itself was in dire need of maintenance and refresh. The condition of the furnishings and lack of attentive service left a sour taste, especially given the price. Honestly, I would consider another option before returning here.
